While the southeast side of Columbus is mostly filled with businesses and some manufacturing companies, there are some nice residential locations that will be a good fit for many renters. As its name suggests, the Waters Edge apartments are situated along Alum Creek and around several ponds creating a distinctive view. This property allows immediate access to US 33 and I-70.

Location

This community is situated off of Petzinger Road near the Southeast Expressway (US 33). The neighborhood includes a creek, a recreational trail and a few shops on the opposite side of the highway.

Shopping & Dining

To get some shopping done, take a ride down Refugee Road to the Eastland Mall which is just a few miles away. In this area you can find a Kroger store for groceries and lots of other useful shops including furniture, pharmacy and auto repair. You will find some places to eat over on S Hamilton Road near the mall such as Red Lobster, Pizza Hut and Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse.

Recreation

Adjust the seat on your mountain bike and take it for a spin on the Alum Creek Multi Use Trail. Just south of here there is an indoor skating center and a few minutes east on Refugee Road you’ll find bowling lanes.
