Life at The Pines Apartments in Harrisburg means living on the east side of the city near excellent shopping and several large employers. In fact, The Pines is one of the closest apartment communities to Capital Blue Cross just up the street.
You might also choose this community to live near PSECU, the state employee credit union. Just a little further you can earn a degree at HACC or attend events at the Farm Show and Expo Center.
The Pines Apartments can be accessed from three separate roads. If you make your way out the main entrance on N Progress Ave you can get to The Progress Grill a popular breakfast spot. There are limited sidewalks going south but it is not far to a small shopping plaza where you can find hair and nail salons, pizza, Chinese food and sushi. Heading north there are quality sidewalks. If you lace up a comfortable pair of sneakers it will lead you to Dunkin’ Donuts, Philly Pretzel Factory and CVS.
The immediate neighborhood is nearly all residential with several churches and Susquehanna Township Middle and High Schools close by.
