If you are looking for a new place near Virginia Tech University, the Green Street Apartments offer an ideal location only a minute or two away. Take a stroll just one block east and you can reach the campus in a snap. There is a mix of pathways nearby that will take you past all of the school’s athletic facilities including the Jason Miller Track Complex and Lane Stadium, home of Hokies football games. You might like the idea of crossing the street and using the lengthy Huckleberry trail for a long distance run or bike ride to get some exercise, or to just get outside. You can also use it to walk to the Blacksburg Library to find some good books or perhaps a few music CDs, then make your way to the downtown area where you might stop in at a restaurant or bar along Main Street. While living here renters can play some golf at the Blacksburg Municipal Golf Course, or the VT course located just a mile away from home. A short ride south of here down Main Street there is a movie theater, bowling lanes and an indoor sports center where you can compete in your favorite activities.
