The Reserve at Knollwood apartments are situated near the south end of Virginia Tech University close to the Executive Airport. Renters can walk to several buildings on the VT campus or take a short drive north to reach the main part of campus and downtown Blacksburg. This location is ideal for renters who want to live just outside the energy of this college town.

Renters who choose The Reserve at Knollwood will live near some of the city’s largest employers. In addition to the university, the Corporate Research Center, Moog, Montgomery Regional Hospital and Federal-Mogul can be reached within minutes. If you take a drive just ten minutes south of this site you will find the area’s major shopping centers including the New River Valley Mall where you can find a few dozen stores along with a 14-screen Regal Cinemas Movie Theater. The mall is also home to New River Community College where renters can take a few courses on a variety of interesting topics. There are a few Blacksburg Transit bus stops along Research Center Drive that you can take to get around. Residents here can use the CRC Trail to run, bike or walk to various parts of the city.
