Find the Walden Pond apartments a little southwest of downtown Lynchburg, off Lakeside Drive providing a central location where you can reach many of the city’s top destinations. If you don’t have a car, there are several GLTC bus stops near the front entrance of this property so you can get around the city with ease. It will only take about 3 minutes to drive from here to Lynchburg College with Liberty University about 8 miles to the south of this address. Take a ride up Forest Brook Road to find a Wal-Mart Supercenter where you can do all of your grocery shopping and pick up anything you need around your new place such as light furnishings, picture frames, kitchen utensils and lots of snacks. There are also several restaurants along Old Forest Road when you feel like dining out such as Applebee’s and Monte Carlo (a local favorite). Once you move in to Walden Pond, you might consider getting together with friends to visit the Lynchburg Hillcats Minor League Baseball Team play at their stadium on Fort Avenue. Pick up a hotdog and cold beer then cheer for the local team to win.
