If you are a seasoned traveler, the Westwind Apartments are an ideal community for you to consider. Situated just off Hershberger Road, you will be able to drive to the Roanoke Regional Airport in less than 5 minutes making travel plans a cinch. There are lots of other reasons to consider this site such as a short ride into Salem, and access to I-581 so you get to downtown Roanoke in just about 10 minutes. One large attraction to this area is the Valley View Mall hosting not only dozens of stores but popular restaurants such as Buffalo Wild Wings and TGI Fridays. You will also find the 16-screen Regal Cinemas movie theater nearby to watch any new films that sound exciting. If you don’t have a membership to Sam’s Club, you might want to get one to save big on groceries and supplies. There is also a Wal-Mart Supercenter nearby Westwind on the south side of the mall. While living here you might attend Roanoke College Elizabeth Campus to earn a degree, show up at an event at the Salem Civic Center, or enjoy a few rounds of golf at the Ole Monterey Club.
