This community is located in northern Delaware on the border with Pennsylvania and between the Delaware River and the turnpike. Claymont apartments are a perfect option for commuters at just 9 miles from Philadelphia International Airport, and just 30 minutes from Center City Philadelphia. This town is in a stage of revitalization and is currently working to restore some of the historical landmarks such as the Robinson House, the Darley House and the Claymont Stone School. There are also plans to construct a new housing development to replace an older complex that was removed. There are lots of fast food restaurants along Philadelphia Pike, the main street that runs through the town. This is a small community and you can quickly make it over to Bellevue State Park where there is lots of recreation facilities and regular events.

You can find an apartment in this area near Naamans Road in the northern part of town where there are several shopping centers and a few parks. Another area to look is along Governor Printz Boulevard. You can get a one bedroom apartment in Claymont for less than $900 per month rent.
