The northeast corner of Pensacola offers some extraordinary opportunities with excellent transportation options and close to educational institutions. If you are planning to travel out of town a lot on business, the Pensacola International Airport can be reached via North 9th Avenue within a few minutes. Living here you will also be able to get onto I-10 and travel to nearby towns and cities such as Mobile Alabama located about 50 miles to the west. Some renters will choose this community to live within a short drive of West Florida Hospital. With the Scenic Highway (US 90) nearby, you can drive up to the University of West Florida in no time. You can pick up Chinese food right around the corner, or choose from a variety of international cuisine such as Japanese, Indian and Mexican food within a mile or two. Residents of Northwinds can select to buy groceries at Winn-Dixie or Wal-Mart Supercenter. There is a single screen movie theater, skating rink and several community parks close by this property. The mall is also an easy drive south of here giving you a nice cool spot to do some shopping.
