With a new rental at The Commons apartments, you will live in a mostly residential area just minutes from the center of Tallahassee. Take a ride down Old Bainbridge Road and you will have a quick commute to the downtown area where you will find the Tallahassee city government and the state capital. FSU students and staff can reach the campus found just south of West Tennessee Street in a flash. You can also travel east through Midtown to get to the hospital. This is a nice location to consider if you have a family with the middle school and high school nearby. There are two parks where kids can enjoy outdoor activities. San Luis Mission Park includes some trails where you can go for a run. As a special treat, there is an ice cream shop right down the street from The Commons where you can enjoy a delicious frozen desert. Residents here can complete food shopping at the Publix Super Market just a minute or so down W Tharpe Street, or a Winn-Dixie a few blocks west. A few of the dining spots in this neighborhood includes Hooters, IHOP, What Café, sushi, Chineese and pizza.
