More about Georgia
If you love hot weather, lots of history and southern hospitality, then renting an apartment in Georgia may be the right place for you. With many miles of beaches, big cities and a large national forest, there is something for everyone who moves here.
While renting in Georgia you will want to take time to visit the Stone Mountain Park where you can see a relief sculpture Confederate Memorial Carving depicting three Confederate heroes of the Civil War. Friends who visit you will also want you to take them to the Georgia Aquarium, the world's largest aquarium or perhaps National Civil War Naval Museum.
Outdoor lovers may enjoy Cloudland Canyon State Park where you can explore a gorge on hiking trails and overlooks. Sports lovers can also take in an Atlanta Braves or Falcons game. Other things to see while living here include the Atlanta History Center, Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park, Kangaroo Conservation Center, Pebble Hill Plantation and Augusta Canal National Heritage Area.
Georgia State University and Georgia Tech are among the many colleges and universities in Atlanta, the state’s capital and largest city. Savannah is a coastal community and home to the Hunter Army Airfield and several historic districts worth visiting. Macon is centrally located and where you will find the Georgia State Fairgrounds. Rentals Online usually has lots of rental listings in Marietta near Dobbs Air Force Base.
