Use the public bus service from the front of the community, or hop in your car and drive up Liberty Road to get downtown in less than ten minutes.

Shopping & Dining

The Parkette Diner is a local hot spot boasting famous fried chicken featured on Food Network, Whitefish Fillets and a Poor Boy with two patties. This area also has a few fast food places but you won’t have to go far for Mexican, barbeque, and CiCi’s Pizza. On the other side of the highway there is a Sam’s Club where you can pile up on supplies for your kitchen and household so be sure to get yourself a membership. A little south of here you can find a large retail plaza that features Home Goods and Office Depot.  

Recreation

When it’s time to play you might enjoy a game of basketball on the community court or rustle up a friend to meet you at Idle Hour Park for some tennis. Gatehouse is just around the corner from the Cinemark Woodhill Movies 10 Theater where you can watch all of the latest films. You can also go up to the Collins Bowling Center to knock down some pins.
