The Riverwood Apartments are nestled inside a quiet country setting with lots of trees on one side, Bayou DeSiard on the other and a golf country club nearby. This pretty area is void of commercial building and retail shops so don’t expect to walk to a local convenience store. If you take a ride up US Highway 165, it won’t take long to reach the St Francis North Hospital, or Century Link – one of the city’s top employers. Residents here might consider joining the Monroe Athletic Club for exciting tennis games, swimming, volleyball and much more.

Location

You can get to the Riverwood Apartments on Deborah Drive on the north side of Bayou DeSiard. This area is nearly all residential with an Episcopal Church, and a neighborhood park nearby.

There is also a strip mall with a Fred’s store, hair cutters, and an AT&T cells phone store. While living here you could get sandwiches form Quiznos, Mexican food from El Azteca, or BBQ from the Magic Grill.
