What you should know before visiting Orchard Park

Rentals Online investigated The Orchard Park Apartments in Edgewater Park, NJ and got the inside scoop.

These older classic Georgian style apartments are solid as can be with red brick exteriors and some recent renovations for modern living. The no-frills residences are perfectly placed for suburban living yet provide excellent city access. Renters can take advantage of many nearby employers and attractions.

As you take a look around the immediate neighborhood surrounding Orchard Park in Edgewater Park, you will find this is not the most walkable spot with limited sidewalks. However the Big Lots store across the street can certainly come in handy when toiletry items, computer accessories or a special kitchen gadget is needed.

You can stroll over to Dunkin’ Donuts to start your day with a coffee and when the late night oil is burning, visits to the highly rated Golden Dawn Diner may be a regular thing. How about a Monte Cristo?

For those who don’t like to travel far for work, Radwell International is across the street and Burlington Coat Factory Distribution Center is around the corner from the property.

It won’t take long to navigate from the Orchard Park Apartments to I-295 or the NJ Turnpike providing a simple route to other Central NJ towns. This is also one of the closest apartment communities to the Beverly/Edgewater Park Light Rail Station which provides service to Trenton and Camden (with a connection to Philadelphia). A drive to Philly from here might take 35-40 minutes with traffic.

An attractive feature of this location is you can cross US-130 for convenient shops such as an ACME grocery store, CVS and the Grand Marketplace. A more extensive list of shops can be found less than five miles away along Mt. Holly Road.

There is no time like the present to earn a degree and with a campus of Burlington County College right across the street from Orchard Park that dream can become very reality. If you are not that ambitious, at least you might visit the library where you can check out the latest James Paterson novel.

There are some recreation activities near the Orchard Park Apartments including movies, bowling, a YMCA and several parks. Or course you can also stay home to enjoy the onsite swimming pool.
