The Twin Oaks Apartments offer an ideal spot if you work for in the textile industry such as at Park Mills or RL Stowe two of the large mills in this area. This is an excellent location if you are one of the 1.400 or so students attending Belmont Abbey College 1.5 miles away. Living here you can quickly access two major roadways for easy rides to Charlotte and beyond. With the Catawba River and lots of parks nearby, there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor fun.

Location

This neighborhood is mostly residential with a larger retail area found 1.2 miles south. Nearby you will find a local coffee shop, hair salon, bank and Holiday Inn Hotel.

Transportation

You will not have access to public transportation in this area so a car will be needed to get around. A short ride down Beatty Drive will lead you to an entrance for I-85, or to US 29/74 for an easy commute to Charlotte or trip to the airport.

Shopping

On the other side of the Interstate you will find a selection of retail shops that are great for renters including Wal-Mart Supercenter (food and home goods) and Lowes. Additional shopping options can be found about 5 miles west of here where you will find Sam’s Club, Kmart and Kohl’s.

Attractions

Twin Oaks is located just around the corner from a YMCA, ideal if you have a family that wants to participate in the many activities, sports or summer camps. If you are an adventure seeker, then regular visits to the US Nationals Whitewater Center may be in store. You can test your skill navigating the man-made river with a kayak or raft. Others will enjoy the feeling of gliding along the zip line course. There is a mini golf course nearby and a multiplex Regal Cinemas 6.2 miles west of this address.
