Positioned right along the Durham Freeway, Colonial Grand at Research Park is nearly midway between Downtown Durham and RTP where 170+ employers have come together. With immediate access to the Freeway, you can get to Research Triangle Park in about 5 minutes but some companies are even closer such as GlaxoSmithKline. On your way up to the city, you will pass the Durham Technical Community College and NCCU, two great places to update your education. You will find a Sheetz grocery market on South Miami Boulevard and if you make your way up MLK Parkway there is a Wal-Mart Supercenter not far away. When you are not spending your time in the community’s beautiful resort-style swimming pool, you might be hitting the links at the Lake Shore Golf Course or perhaps playing some disc golf at nearby Bethesda Park. residents here can find something to eat with a short ride down Ellis Road where there is lots of fast food, pizza and sandwich shops.
