Open the doors to southern Greensboro living at Carolina Oaks including shopping at the mall, GTCC, and even trips to High Point. Downtown is still just about twelve minutes away and the university is even closer.

Located across from the Fairfax Operations Center, these apartments have a mix of both residential and commercial activities nearby.   There are sidewalks along Hilltop road so you can walk to some shops and eateries.

Transportation

You will be able to walk to a bus stop on High Point Road providing access to Ride GTA’s #11 route. It will take about 12 minutes to walk there from Carolina Oaks.   High Point Road is also the main thoroughfare that will lead you up to the mall and towards downtown Greensboro. There is even a car care area onsite so you can keep your vehicle clean.

Shopping

If you make a left on High Point Road and travel north, you will find more and more shops as you approach the Four Seasons mall. Nearby there is an Aldi market, great for some basic food needs. Toys R Us and Big Lots are also close. Carolina Oaks is in reach of both Harris Teeter and Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market stores for replenishing your kitchen.

Dining

There are several restaurants about ½ miles from here such as Domino’s Pizza, Mexican food and seafood. As you get closer to the mall there are a dozen more eateries including popular national brands Smokey Bones Grill, Bonefish Grill, and Outback Steakhouse.

Recreation

Sure, you may spend some time swimming in the onsite pool to cool off on a hot day, but there are some other things to do not far from this apartment complex. Residents may want to golf at the Sedgefield Country Club or spend an afternoon at City Lake Park on a paddle boat or playing mini golf. There is an indoor playground for little kids and a large movie cinema to see the latest films.
