With no major roadways in site and a location along a quiet street, the Colonial Apartments are a nice location for those who want to come home and relax. This neighborhood is just a short drive from downtown, UNCG, and the Wesley Long Hospital. There is lots of great dining nearby and shopping not far away.

Location

These apartments can be found along the quiet, pine tree lined street of Burlingate Drive, just west of downtown Greensboro.

Transportation

There are a bunch of bus stops along West Market Street. The closet one is about a half mile away and you can walk to it in about 8 minutes to access the #9 route to the Depot. Additional stops can be found on Muirs Chapel Road serving the #26 route.

Shopping

This neighborhood includes both a Harris Teeter and Food Lion supermarkets on opposite sides of Market Street near Muirs Chapel Road. You can also find several smaller specialty grocers in the area. If you are looking to save a few bucks, there is a thrift shop and a flea market close to the Colonial apartments. It won’t take long for residents here to reach the Wendover Village retail center near I-40 to find Costco and load of other stores.

Dining

If you enjoy dining out, you will love the neighborhood around these apartments which includes dozens of restaurants serving cuisine from a large variety of nations. You can still grab some pizza or a burger and beer, it’s up to you.

Recreation

At just ten minutes from downtown, you will have access to all the theaters, museums and attractions in the city’s center. Nearby there is golf country club and large park. residents may also attend events at the Greensboro Coliseum.
