The Forest apartments offer an attractive location with a suburban appeal. No major highways are nearby and there is mostly residential housing in the vicinity. Renters here won’t be far from some corporations along Industrial Avenue including UPS. You can drive from these apartments to downtown Greensboro in about ten minutes.

Location

Scenic Rounda Lake adorns the back yard of many of these buildings with a colorful mix of trees and spacious grassy lawns. There are several other residential developments nearby as well as a large UPS Customer Center.

Transportation

If you want to take a bus while living at The Forest, you will have to hike about .6 miles to the stop on South Elm Street. It will take about 12 minutes to walk there but there are sidewalks along Montcastle Drive to make the trek easy.

Shopping

A few options you will have for grocery shopping including a Food Lion on Meadowview Road, or the Wal-Mart Supercenter on West Elmsley Drive. A few other shops not far from here include Home Depot, CVS and the Cracker Barrel Store.

Dining

While residents here are blessed with pleasant and natural surroundings, there are no dining spots anywhere in this neighborhood. When you want to get something to eat, take a ride down Elm towards I-85 for a decent selection of fast food, plus Cracker Barrel. A variety of other restaurants can be found along Randleman Road.

Recreation

Families will enjoy regular visits to the Wet’n Wild Water Park. Shannon Hills Park offers a nice spot to bike ride or play basketball.
