Positioned on the west edge of Northeast Raleigh, River Birch at Town Center is an excellent spot if you want live near fantastic shopping at the mall and have some good commuting options. Wake Technical Community College is nearby if you want to add job skills.

Location

River Birch at Town Center Apartments can be found in Northeast Raleigh, NC off Old Wake Forest Road between the high school and mall. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and commercial businesses.

Walking Distance – This is not a very walkable neighborhood. There are some sidewalks along Old Wake Forest Road that will let you reach some businesses, a church and a book store, but they end after a few blocks.

If you want to leave your car at home, use the CAT bus stop id the front of River Birch at Town Center to reach the park and ride lot at the mall. There you can board a bus to Wake Forest or downtown. Drivers will have easy access to Capital Boulevard one mile away.

There is no question the neighborhood around River Birch at Town Center is loaded with excellent shopping. For starters, you can drive west on Spring Forest Road to a retail center on Falls of Neuse Road to find both The Fresh Market and Harris Teeter grocery stores to satisfy all of your food shopping needs. In the other direction you will have 160 plus stores at the Triangle Town Center mall in addition to and full array of other shops in the surrounding area where you can find shoes, sports equipment, and furnishings for your apartment.

There is a full assortment of dining spots by River Birch at Town Center from Chili’s and Macaroni Grill, to Mediterranean cuisine at the Petra Grill.

Recreation

Nearby you will find AMF bowling lanes, a multiplex Carmike movie cinema and Millbrook Park and Tennis Center.
