Rentals Online researchers have uncovered this neighborhood for you…
A suburban Shangri-La is what you might possibly use to describe the location of the Shellbrook apartments found among massive shade trees in northern Raleigh. With a selection of one- and two- bedroom apartments, a residential location and close proximity to schools, this can be a great location for families. North Hills Drive will lead you to upscale shopping, dining and entertainment that you deserve.
Location
Shellbrook can be found off of North Hills Drive just east of Shelley Lake. This neighborhood is nearly all residential with a couple of schools not far away.
Transportation
Triangle Transit operates bus service in this area with a stop right at the end of the street. There is also a CAT bus stop in the other direction along Dixon Drive.
Shopping & Dining
Even though this property is somewhat secluded from much of the activity you will find in other parts of the city, you still won’t be far from some excellent shopping opportunities starting with a Food Lion grocery store less than one mile away. Resident of Shellbrook can travel 6-7 minutes south to the North Hills Shopping Center, home of Target, JC Penney and many other shops. It is really not much further to the Crabtree Mall. There are a few fast food places in this neighborhood but if you make your way down Six Forks Road there are many name brand restaurants to choose from.
Recreation
A big recreation attraction to this area is the nearby Shelley Lake Park which has a couple of miles of paved trails around the water and connecting to the Greenway Trail. There is also an Arts Center where you can attend a class or workshop to learn about a variety of topics. Living here you will be close to the Colony Theatres (independent films) and a short drive from a large Regal Cinemas movie theater.
Has mini-golf, laser tag and an arcade.
