This site is less than a ten minute drive to UNCW, the hospital and mall. You can enjoy frequent trips to the beach and downtown Wilmington is not out of the question either.

This community is part of a large residential area on the south side of Wilmington between Carolina Beach Road and South College Road.

Transportation

Look for Wave Transit bus stops along St Andrews Drive. The closest stop from Crosswinds should take about five minutes to walk.

Shopping & Dining

If you ride down St Andrews Drive to Carolina Beach Road, it will quickly lead you to a shopping area that includes a Wal-Mart Supercenter, and Lowes Foods.   There is also a home improvement store where you can pick up a lamp or shelving, hair cutters, Game Stop and cleaners. If you don’t feel like messing up your kitchen, look along College Road for some great dining choices such as Buffalo Wild Wings, Rucker Johns and Hibachi Bistro.

Recreation

The Echo Farms Golf and Country Club may be one place on your regular schedule for fun activities. Families can certainly enjoy regular visits to Halyburton Park where there are extensive trails and nature programs. These apartments are close to the Myrtle Grove Public Library and of course trips to the beach are always in order.
