This is a fantastic location for faculty and students of UNCW who want to live very close to the campus. Living at Cypress Pointe you can walk down Racine Drive and be at Morton Hall near the clock tower in about 10-12 minutes. The neighborhood offers excellent shopping and dining just steps away. Public transit is also nearby in case you need to get around the city.

College Access Drive is positioned back from College Road west of the shopping center. Walk to stores including pizza, coffee and groceries.

Transportation

Look for Wave Transit bus stops along Racine Drive when you need to get a ride around the city. Drivers will use College Road and Market Street. Maintain your vehicle at the on-site car care center.

Shopping & Dining

Walk, bike or drive down New Centre Drive to a large shopping area that includes a Lowes supermarket for stocking up your refrigerator, Home Goods for some cool decorations, and Old Navy for some fashion basics. There are plenty of choices near Cypress Pointe for dining out including the popular CiCi’s Pizza, El Cerro Grande Mexican and a Hibachi Grill. You can get your hair cut, find a mattress or a new cell phone a couple of minutes from home.

Recreation

Just around the corner from here there is a bowling center where you can challenge your friends. Ogden Park has nine tennis courts, a jogging trail, playground area and lots of sports fields. You can even go to the Wilmington Ice House for a fun time skating or to play hockey.
