This community will be a perfect home for those working in a medical profession with the Mary Washington Hospital located only 3 minutes away. Take a ride just 1.3 miles east of here and quickly reach UMW at College Avenue. Trek a few minutes in the western direction and discover world class shopping at Central Park mall, a huge outdoor retail complex with hundreds of shops that you will likely visit often (hey, it’s one of the largest malls in the country!). When you want to get together with friends for dinner, there will be plenty of places to choose from pizza and sandwiches to fine dining at popular local restaurants such as Basilico and Capital Ale House. There are lots of exciting places to visit while living at the Evergreens. We think a tour of the A. Smith Bowman Distillery would be an educational way to spend an hour. You might also be a regular at the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market located around Hurkamp Park.
