Well south of the city, you will find Colony Village along US Highway 1 about one mile from US 288. This property could be a great location if you will be working at any of the industrial companies along the river such as DuPont, Philip Morris USA or Port Richmond. The US Defense Supply Center is also just up the street from this property. You will be able to reach the VA Medical Center in about 15 minutes from this address. South of Colony Village there are a few small retail centers where you will find a variety of eateries along with a Food Lion grocery market where you can stock up your kitchen. Pizza, Chinese, burgers Chili’s Grill are all nearby this property. While living here you might take some courses at John Tyler Community College a convenient place to continue your education or learn about something that interests you. If you like the outdoors, Pocahontas State Park will be one place you can spend lots of time camping, hiking even renting a kayak to paddle around one of the lakes.
