These attractive red brick buildings line State Street just 1.5 miles south of the Illinois Institute of Technology and about two miles from the Mercy Hospital Medical Center on the south side of Chicago. Residents of the Legends South apartments can walk to a CAT bus stop near the front of the property or head six blocks east to the 43^rd Street Metro stop to catch the Green Line. If you have a car, it will be easy to get on the expressway just around the corner at East 43^rd Street. There is a small local park up the street that has tennis and basketball court along with a playground that will be perfect place to get out of your apartment for a while to shed some calories.

Legends South is positioned at the corner of S State Street and E 45^th Street. In this neighborhood there are a couple of neighborhood parks, a church, a school, and other homes.

About 2.5 miles west of Legends South there is a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, Family Dollar and a Walgreens store.
