As the name suggests, The Waters Edge apartments are settled along the Mississippi River on East River Drive just east of downtown Davenport. This property offers easy access to the Arsenal, downtown and the Genesis Medical Center. Living here you will have terrific views of the river and lots of attractions nearby.

Look for this community along East River Drive just past Charlotte Avenue. In this neighborhood you can find a professional building, a gas station, a coffee shop and access to the Riverfront Trail.

Shopping & Dining

Avoid downtown for food shopping by going up to East Locust Street to the Save-A-Lot store where you should be able to find all the groceries you need. When it’s time to go out to eat however, make the short ride along East River Drive to check out the Front Street Brewery where guests rave about their hand crafted beers served in the garden, the slow cooked Carolina Pulled Pork Sandwich and Fish Tacos. You can get flatbread pizza at the Barrel House and fabulous deserts at the Duck City Bistro.

Recreation

Here you will have no excuses for not getting some exercise with the Riverfront Trail steps from your door. Residents here can walk, run or ride many miles along the scenic waterway to burn off a few calories or soak up some vitamin D. Residents of The Waters Edge can head downtown to check out the collections at the Figge Art Museum or attend a performance at Adler Theatre. There are many historic places to visit here including the Colonial Davenport House on the opposite side of the river believed to be built around 1833.
