What you should know before visiting Moorestowne Woods
- By Rentals Online staff
Rentals Online investigated the Moorestowne Woods in Moorestown, NJ and got the inside scoop.
An oldie but goodie – built in 1968 this award winning community still makes the grade with a prime location, classic design and amenities that satisfy. The renovated kitchens bring the interiors alive through granite counters and stainless steel appliances but close proximity to shopping and Philadelphia is why you will be eager to pursue Moorestowne Woods Apartments.
If you take a quick spin around this neighborhood one of the first things you will notice is that you are very close to the Moorestown Mall with 90+ stores covering Macy’s to Rita’s Water Ice.
The essence of this neighborhood is that you can drive straight down Main Street to I-676 and across the Ben Franklin Bridge into Philly in about 20 minutes (when traffic is not a beast). If you want to commute to other parts of NJ it will be a cinch to enter I-295 or the NJ Turnpike with a brief ride up Highway 73.
Burlington has its own selection of large employers such as Lockheed Martin and PHH Mortgage both located just east of these Moorestown apartments past the highways. On the way there you can stop in at Centerton Square, a modern retail center hosting Wegmans Market, Target and Costco for food supplies and household items.
After work hours there is no time to waste. Kids will likely enjoy the onsite playground and adults can ward off stress with a workout on the outdoor fitness equipment. There is no pool here but you can visit an offsite swim club. When more stimulation is required, you won’t have to go far to zip around an indoor track on a go-kart, jump on giant trampolines or challenge yourself to reach the top of a rock wall at a nearby climbing center. If you are not an adventure seeker like Bilbo from the Shire there is a state-of-the-art 12-screen cinema at the mall.
When you walk across the street from Moorestowne Woods you won’t want to miss the fruits of a compact park that includes tennis and basketball courts and a hockey rink. The likes of this recreation site is not something you will find at too many other apartments in the vicinity and kids will have a place to stay active for hours.
This area has good sidewalks allowing you to walk to 7-Eleven for coffee or Manhattan Bagel if you don’t mind absorbing a few extra calories. There is also a well-placed CITGO gas station at the end of the street so you can always be ready to travel.
After a busy day, a home cooked meal may be the last thing on your mind. That’s when a pint of local beer on tap and a Zeus Burger from Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant can’t go wrong. Plus, it’s only 1.1 miles back to Moorestowne Woods Apartments.
When the location is right, you are only limited by your imagination.
