You will find an ART public transit bus stop on at the corner of Hendersonville Road and Long Shoals Road .3 miles from this property. You can walk there in about 6 minutes. There are no sidewalks on Allen Road but there are on Hendersonville Rd so it is a reasonable walk. US 25 will lead you all the way to downtown Asheville.

Shopping

Within two miles you will find Wal-Mart Supercenter and Target stores that will cover many of your basic needs from groceries to laundry supplies. Just a little further Pier 1 Imports has many furnishings that could be perfect for your new place or as gifts. An Ingles Markets (1.3 miles north) is located on Hendersonville Road, a great place when you need some last minute ingredients.
