This place is your access to RTP and beyond. The Bexley at Carpenter Village apartments is an ideal location for renters who want to live within 15 minutes of Research Triangle Park and the many large corporations in that area. Transportation

The nearest public transportation is the Triangle Transit bus stop on NC 55 at Morrisville-Carpenter. Residents can access the #311 providing service between Lake Pine Plaza and RTP. You will probably need to get a ride there because it is 1.4 miles away from Bexley at Carpenter Village. If you have a car, NC-55 will lead you right up to the Western Wake Freeway towards Research Triangle Park or the airport.

Shopping

In this neighborhood you can expect to find a Food Lion grocery store and Wal-Mart. A few miles to the east of this site is where the Park West Village is located, home to Target, TJ Maxx and a few baby stores.

Tip: You might also be interested in picking up some fresh fruits and vegetables at the Western Wake Farmers Market on Gathering Park Circle.

Dining

There are quite a few places to eat in this area including a good selection of casual dining such as pizza, sandwich shops, barbeque, wings and a few finer dining options. There are many other options within 2-3 miles.

Recreation

If you have kids, they will likely enjoy the seasonal Philips Park Corn Maze with hay rides and other fun activities. There is a large movie cinema at Park Place Center.

Sports & Fitness

This community has several trails that pass around the Crabtree Creek Water Shed that are great for walking or jogging. A couple of miles south of here you might be interested in signing up for a program at the USA Baseball National Training Complex next to Thomas Brooks Park.
