But if you don’t mind walking for 10 minutes you can catch the Triangle Transit #305 line for service between Lake Pine and NCSU in Raleigh. The driving crowd will find it a breeze to hop on US 64/1 from the entrance right up the street.
Shopping
You should find it convenient to have a Wal-Mart Supercenter within walking distance. Even if you drive there you can pick up groceries, toothpaste and perhaps a DVD. This neighborhood also includes Harris Teeter and Whole Foods stores so you should have no trouble finding ingredients for any meal. This property is within a couple of miles of lots of other shops where you can find sporting goods, office equipment, craft supplies and just about everything else.

Along Tryon Road, you will find a decent selection of dining spots including the local favorite Lucky 32 Southern Kitchen serving shrimp & grits, whipped sweet potatoes, and big easy gumbo on their menu. If you prefer something more traditional, there is O’Charley’s and TGI Friday’s nearby along with a slew of other choices at the McGregor Village.
Recreation
Being able to walk to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre you can enjoy many community events and festivals along with a terrific selection of entertainers that perform here throughout the year. You can watch a movie at the 20-screen Regal Theater in the Crossroads Plaza or try to rack up a new high score at a few arcade games at Dave & Busters in the mall.

You can walk to an access point for the Swift Creek Greenway trail on Regency Parkway to go for a regular run.
