There are lots of reasons to choose Barden Ridge for your next home from living near major employers such as Eaton Corporation and Georgia-Pacific to attending the many festivals and events held in Roxboro. Located just off of US Highway 501 you will be able to zip up to the Person Hospital or Piedmont Community College within a few minutes or take an easy ride down to Durham where you will find Duke University, RTP and the International Airport. This two and three bedroom apartment community is located close to the county library, shops and restaurants.

The community of Barden Ridge is set back off of West Barden Street behind the Roxboro Shopping Center.

Transportation

Motorists will be able to drive down the street to access Madison Avenue, the main thoroughfare that will get you through town or lead you to Durham. There is a car wash just around the corner. Residents without a car can contact Person Area Transportation System (PATS) for a ride anywhere in the county for a fee.

Shopping & Dining

There is a small retail center nearby where you can find some basic shops and services such as hair and nails, pizza, a dentist office and a few other eateries. As you drive up Madison Boulevard you will find a Food Lion grocery store on the left side. Heading south of here there is a Wal-Mart Supercenter that will carry everything from soup to nuts for your new apartment. When you feel like saving a few bucks, head down to the 501 Flea for some discounted merchandise or used items.

Recreation

While living here you may enjoy visiting the Person County History Museum, attending a performance at Kirby Civic Auditorium or the Roxboro Little Theater participating in athletic activities at Huck Sansbury Recreation Complex, or hiking the 2.3 mile trail near the college.
