Take refuge from the stimulation of the college atmosphere, by making your next home at the Jefferson Ridge apartments in Charlottesville Virginia. Tucked away between Moores Creek and I-64 west of the city, you can enjoy a more peaceful environment from this residential neighborhood. Living here it will take about ten minutes to drive to UVA and to the University Medical Center. If you hop on I-64 you can drive over to the Martha Jefferson Medical Center in less than 15 minutes. Residents can take the same route to get to the State Farm Operations Center, a major employer in the area. You will find a small retail center with a Food Lion grocery store and a few eateries (pizza, burgers, etc…) about 2.5 miles from Jefferson Ridge. While renting here there are several great places to take a road trip including a wine tasting at the Sugarleaf Vineyards located about 20 minutes south of Old Lynchburg Road. Another fun outing would be to go apple picking at Crater Mountain Orchard. When you get home you can prepare a simple Apple Cobbler and indulge with your friends and family.
