This location is perfect for the casual or extreme shopper with a large mall about one mile away. You can reach the John Deere Works site in about five minutes or make your way to the Genesis Hospital in about the same amount of time.

The location of Alexis at Perry Pointe is off of Welcome Way (US 61) near West 53^rd Street. A few places you will find in this neighborhood area an ice cream shop, McDonald’s, a hotel and a bank.

If you take a short ride west of here there is a Fareway Grocery store that can be useful to restock your refrigerator and kitchen cabinets. To the south of these apartments you can spend a full day browsing the 160 plus shops in the North Park Mall, or just racing into one of the five department stores when there is a sale on bedding or maybe your favorite jeans. There is a nice selection of eateries near Alexis and everyone will have their favorite. One popular spot is Azteca, a family owned Mexican restaurant dulling out burritos, enchiladas and tacos to hungry patrons.

Recreation

The YMCA offers lots of programs from children’s sports to horse riding camps. Residents can go bowling at a center on the south side of the mall or watch a football game at Brady Street Stadium.
