Here is a great spot for renters who want an easy ride into downtown Fayetteville, but enjoy the suburban atmosphere. Reaford Crossing is set right along US 401 for a direct route to the city. This spot could be excellent for staff of the medical center. You will find great shopping options nearby.

Location

Located right off Raeford Road just past Bunce Road, these apartments are close to the highway for easy access. The neighborhood includes a car wash, Walgreens pharmacy, several churches and a Kangaroo Express shop.

Transportation

There are several bus stops along Bunce Road and a few on Raeford within about .5 miles of this community. Unfortunately there are no or limited sidewalks to get there so you would need to get a ride or rough it.

Shopping

This neighborhood includes a Food Lion grocery store, Walgreens and Family Dollar. A short ride up Skibo Road will lead you to a large shopping area that includes Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Marshalls along with many other shops and services.

Dining

When you are hungry for something to eat and you didn’t have time for food shopping, you can find Pizza Hut, a sub shop, Chinese food and McDonald’s nearby. If you drive down Business Route 401 a few minutes you will come upon some well-rated dining spots such as 316 Oyster Bar & Seafood Grill and Mi Casita Mexican.

Recreation

If you get tired of swimming in the Raeford Crossing community pool, you can head out of the gate and over to the Round-A-Bout Skating Center or Round-A-Golf (mini golf course) located just down the street. For some outdoor activities, Lake Rim Park offers horse shoes, tennis and volleyball courts.
