Found near the northwest side of the Virginia Tech campus, University Place Condominiums present an outstanding location where you can stroll to class in just a few minutes. There are plenty of sidewalks in the area and when the weather is nice, walking is a great way to travel. When your legs need a break, you can find a BT Transit bus stop on Old Glade Road behind the University Mall Shopping Center. In this neighborhood you will discover a Starbucks coffee shop when you need a quick boost, along with a Kroger market so you can pick up some pasta and other food supplies. If you want to do some volunteer work, the Hahn Horticulture Garden is always looking for some helpers and it is a great way to meet new friends. The University Place Condos in Blacksburg are not far from the Virginia Tech Fraternities and Sororities found along Oak Lane. If you take a quick ride west of here you can uncover Heritage Park and Natural Area, a 169 acre recreation site where visitors can appreciate the picturesque views, go hiking or exploring on your mountain bike.
