This suburban community is southeast Gastonia will enable you to live in the countryside while offering convenience to the city. With Redbud Drive around the corner, reaching the interstate and major shopping areas is a snap. You will live close to outdoor recreation sites such as the Greenway for mountain bike riding, a golf course and large park.

There are two small retail centers nearby with a grocery market, hair and nail salons, pharmacy and a few eateries.

For those who need to get to the interstate, a short drive up Redbud Drive will get you there in minutes allowing an easy ride towards Charlotte.

Shopping

You will be able to pick up some basic food supplies at a local grocery market as well as gather things you may need around your apartment at a Family Dollar store. There are a bunch of other small shops and services within a mile or so of this property. If you drive up to East Franklin Boulevard and turn left, you can get to lots of big name retailers such as Sam’s Club and Wal-Mart.

Dining

You won’t find any eateries right in this neighborhood but if you drive up to New Hope Road there are several places where you can pick up a quick meal including pizza, wings, sandwiches and a bakery. There is also a Chinese food restaurant and a tavern on Hoffman Road directly south of Orchard Trace.

Recreation

You can stay right onsite to participate in regular social events or go swimming in the pool. Not far away from here you can visit an indoor skating center or play golf at the Gastonia Country Club. While living here take an opportunity to visit Goat Island Park where you can go canoeing, fishing or listen to an outdoor concert.
