The Village of Ballantyne is a bit more out in the countryside than some of the other properties we have researched. Renters here will enjoy a suburban lifestyle with lots of fun amenities such as a dog park and salt water pool. These apartments are not far from a high school, ideal for families.

Location

East Hudson Boulevard is lined with residential developments such as these apartments, which also border Armstrong Park Road enabling a quick ride up to the Interstate. The three story buildings in this community are surrounded by attractive fencing and newly planted trees.

Transportation

Take a drive up Armstrong Park Road and you will reach the city’s primary shopping area as well as access to I-85.

If you make your way up to new Home Road there are a few shops such as Dollar General, CVS pharmacy and a laundry. But continue north for only a few minutes and voila, you will reach the Gaston Mall and other shops including Target, TJ Maxx, Wal-Mart Supercenter and Sam’s Club.

Dining

Around the corner from here at New Hope Road you can grab yourself some pizza ad Dominon’s or Little Caesars. There is also a steak house and bakery in this area. Closer to the interstate you will find a huge selection or dinging spots such Golden Coral, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday and Starbucks.

Recreation

While living at The Village of Ballantyne, perhaps you will be interested in joining the Gaston Country Club for regular rounds of golf. If you have a mountain bike, make your way over to Robinwood Road where you can access the Avon Catawba Creeks Greenway for a long ride. Mini golf and batting cages are only minutes away on East Franklin Boulevard.
