Heritage Village at Rosegate in Rahway, NJ is an apartment community for the 55+ crowd that has all the comforts to make you feel at home from a flat screen TV to onsite activities and seminars. You will have access to excellent public transportation and can enjoy many local cafés and dining spots.

On the low side– this is an income restricted community so costs will be lower than most other options. There is an application fee and if you plan to have a pet, standard costs will apply.

LOCATION

Convenient spot – the big benefit of choosing the Heritage Village at Rosegate Apartments is that you can walk or ride a bus to the train which has service to New York and south towards Princeton. In the vicinity you will find many large employers plus the Woodbridge Mall is only a few miles down Route 9.

A Shop Rite supermarket is about 5 minutes away and Wal-Mart is near the Linden Airport.

Tip: you can access the NJ Turnpike from Roosevelt Avenue about 2.5 miles east.

CONVENIENCES

Laundry facility – you will need to haul clothes to a laundry center on wash days.

The building is equipped with elevators as well handicap assessable features.

A NJ Transit bus stops on E Hazelwood Avenue.

Pets welcome – pets are allowed at Heritage Village at Rosegate but be sure to ask about restrictions. Some additional pet fees and rent apply.

LEISURE          

Some activities– you can certainly get some exercise at the fitness center or relax with a good book in the library. The community coordinates resident activities and seminars. There is also a community room with large TV.  

The property is not far from the Rahway Public Library and hiking trails in Ernest Oros Park.

Insufficient – we found only a handful of reviews for Heritage Village at Rosegate and while they were mostly positive, it is not enough for a true depiction of renter sediment.
