Thoughtfully located on the west side of Virginia Tech, the Smith’s Landing apartments present a community that is within a short walk of campus. If you were thinking about joining a fraternity or sorority, now is the time with Oak Lane just around the corner, you can visit there regularly to see which you like best. There is a local shopping center just one mile up Prices Fork Road where you can buy groceries or pick up a quick bite to eat. Renters here can also quickly hop on US Highway 460 to reach the New River Valley Mall for more an absolute shopping experience. The trip will take less than 15 minutes and you can reward yourself with a movie at the Regal Cinemas Theater. Near the mall you will also find Target and Wal-Mart stores which cover many of the basics that renters require. Your stay at Smith’s Landing in Blacksburg, VA may include bike riding or running along the Huckleberry Trail or occasional tee times at the Virginia Tech Golf Course. In this neighborhood you will find several hotels including the Inn at VT Skelton Conference Center producing many jobs and activities for area residents.
