Shopping & Dining

Take a short drive up Independence Boulevard and you can find a retail plaza that includes a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market for all your grocery needs. You will find a bunch of other shops there too such as a bank, hair cutters and pharmacy.   Sardis Place at Matthews is not far from many other shops as well. You will need to drive north a few minutes to turn around but it won’t take long to get to Target, Kohl’s and Sam’s Club along with many other premium retailers. When you feel like eating out, grab some pizza at Domino’s or stop in at Ruby Tuesday or K&W Cafeterias for a few of the local choices.

Recreation

With two lighted tennis courts on site, you won’t have to worry about working late to get your game in. There is also a playground and pool with wireless internet access where you can relax while kids are playing. If you have a mountain bike you can zip over to the trails in McAlpine Park for an enjoyable ride around the pond or across the greenway.
